1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you, as a Candidate, and Unibeez Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12267748) with its registered office at Station House, 15 Station Road, St. Ives, PE27 5BH, United Kingdom.

By accessing or using the Unibeez platform ("Platform"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

Unibeez operates solely as a digital intermediary. It does not act as an employer, recruiter, or employment agency, and it does not guarantee the accuracy of job listings or the availability of work.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

  • "Candidate" means an individual who uses the Platform to search for or apply for work opportunities.
  • "Hirer" refers to any business or organisation using the Platform to post job opportunities.
  • "Platform" refers to the Unibeez website, mobile applications, and all associated digital services provided by Unibeez Limited.
  • "Content" includes any CVs, profiles, job applications, communications, and other materials submitted or uploaded by the Candidate through the Platform.
3. Eligibility

To be eligible to use the Platform, you must meet all of the following conditions:

  • Be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
  • Possess the legal right to work in the jurisdiction in which you intend to apply for opportunities.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
4. Account and Access

As a Candidate, you agree to maintain accurate, current, and complete profile information, including your CV. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and must not share your account with others or impersonate any individual or entity. Your account must be used solely by you and for lawful purposes.

5. Platform Features

The Platform provides Candidates with access to various features. These include the ability to create or upload a digital CV, search and apply for job roles (including those hosted by third-party providers), and utilise AI-powered filters to refine search results. Candidates may also download, export, and share their CVs, participate in the Unibeez community, access certified skills training via the Unibeez Skills Academy, and receive career guidance tailored to early-career professionals.

6. Responsibilities

Candidates are solely responsible for conducting due diligence on job listings and potential Hirers. You must ensure that the content of your CV and any information provided through the Platform is truthful, accurate, and not misleading. You are expected to behave professionally when using the Platform and must report any suspicious or fraudulent job postings or conduct to Unibeez.

Unibeez does not conduct background checks on Hirers and makes no representation as to their legitimacy or conduct.

7. Data Protection and Privacy

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the Unibeez Privacy Policy, which complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

You have the right to access any personal data held about you, correct inaccuracies, request the deletion of your data, and withdraw consent where applicable.

8. Use of AI

Unibeez utilises artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, including contextual vectoring, to personalise your experience and improve the relevance of job search results. These tools are designed to provide suggestions only and do not guarantee job matches, offers, or interview opportunities. You should not rely solely on AI-generated results and must exercise your own judgment in evaluating opportunities.

9. Platform Charges

At present, the Platform is provided free of charge to Candidates. However, Unibeez reserves the right to introduce fees for certain existing or future functionalities. You will be notified in advance of any such charges, and continued use of the affected services following such notice will constitute acceptance of the applicable fees.

10. Third-Party Job Listings

The Platform may display job listings or redirect you to listings hosted on third-party websites. Unibeez accepts no responsibility for the accuracy, content, or outcome of any job application made via a third-party site. Your use of such third-party websites is subject to their respective terms and conditions.

Additionally, the Platform may integrate or link to third-party services. Unibeez is not responsible for the content, availability, or data-handling practices of these services.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
  • Post or upload offensive, defamatory, or misleading content.
  • Attempt to bypass Platform security or access restrictions.
  • Upload viruses, malware, or other malicious code.

Violation of this section may result in suspension or termination of your account and, where applicable, reporting to legal authorities.

12. User Content and Licence

By submitting content (such as your CV, profile, or communications) to the Platform, you grant Unibeez a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and display such content solely to operate and promote the Platform.

You retain ownership of your content, but Unibeez may remove content that violates these Terms or any applicable law.

13. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including software, branding, and design (excluding User Content), are owned by or licensed to Unibeez.

You may not reproduce, distribute, reverse-engineer, or modify any part of the Platform without written permission from Unibeez.

14. Ratings and Feedback

You may be invited to provide ratings or feedback on job listings or your experience using the Platform. You agree that any such feedback must be fair, truthful, and not discriminatory, defamatory, or misleading.

Unibeez reserves the right to review, moderate, or remove any feedback it deems inappropriate or unlawful.

15. User Disputes

Unibeez is not responsible for resolving disputes between Candidates and Hirers. While we may offer limited informal assistance at our discretion, we are under no obligation to intervene or mediate.

16. Service Availability

Unibeez aims to provide reliable and continuous access to the Platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

We are not liable for any delays, disruptions, or losses due to outages, maintenance, or unforeseen events.

17. Disclaimers and No Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Unibeez makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any job listing or Platform feature.

Unibeez does not guarantee that you will receive job offers or interviews, that job listings will be legitimate or up to date, or that AI recommendations will be accurate or relevant.

18. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms shall affect your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable UK consumer protection legislation, to the extent that such rights cannot be waived or excluded by contract.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unibeez's total liability to you for any claims arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform shall not exceed one hundred pounds sterling (£100).

Unibeez shall not be liable for missed job opportunities, delayed responses, or the conduct of fraudulent Hirers or third parties.

20. Privacy

Use of the Platform is subject to the Unibeez Privacy Policy, which outlines how personal data is collected, stored, and processed. The Privacy Policy should be read alongside these Terms and Conditions. The Unibeez Privacy Policy must be accepted by all users who wish to access and use the functionality of the platform.

21. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Unibeez from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

  • Your breach of these Terms;
  • Any false, misleading, or inaccurate information you provide;
  • Any misuse of the Platform by you.
22. Notification of Changes

Unibeez may update or revise these Terms from time to time. In the event of material changes, you will be notified by email or via a notice posted on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following such notification will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.

23. Termination

Unibeez may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform without notice if you are in breach of these Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting Unibeez at support@unibeez.com.

24. Force Majeure

Unibeez shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms if such delay or failure results from events beyond its reasonable control. These events may include, but are not limited to, internet outages, cyberattacks, governmental restrictions, natural disasters, or other force majeure events.

25. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
